Every Two Tides piece begins on the coast — in the quiet stretch of time spent waiting for the right light, the right wave, the right moment to press the shutter. From there, each photograph becomes a single print, and ends as a complete, ready-to-hang piece of art, handcrafted in Melbourne one frame at a time.
The print
Every piece is printed on Enhanced Matte paper — flat, sharp, and rich in colour, so the detail in your photograph stays true.
The mat
Every print sits behind a 50mm white mat border — deliberately kept to one clean, timeless option rather than a range of colours. It's acid- and lignin-free, so it won't yellow or degrade the print behind it over time. The mat is cut with a small, intentional overlap on each edge to hold your print securely in place.
The frame
Choose the finish that suits your space:
- Onyx — black
- Coral — white
- Driftwood — natural wood finish
Every frame is handcrafted to order from solid wood, with a 5mm rebate holding everything snugly in place, and a 5mm acid-free foam backing board protecting your print from behind.
The glazing
Standard glazing is UV acrylic — the same clarity as glass, but lighter and safer to ship. Prefer real glass? It's available as an upgrade on our 50mm-mat sizes.
Ready to hang
Every frame ships with D-rings and hanging wire already fitted to the back — no extra hardware kit required. Just find your wall fixings and you're set. See our hanging guide →
Made to last
Museum-grade materials, handcrafted in Australia, and made only once you order — nothing sits in a warehouse waiting to be sold. It's a slower way to make a frame, but it's the one we think is worth it.
